I have had fever since last Friday when I had to go to doctor to take M.C. I went again on Sunday as my fever was still quite high. I kept on having high fever, but the weird thing is, it attacks only at night. In the morning, I sweat and my temperature is not high. I just feel VERY giddy. When it is after 10pm onwards, my body will be very hot, reaching 39.7.

I thought I would be OK, so I didn't go to the doctor anymore when suddenly I saw a lot (i mean really a lot) of red spots all over my hands and legs last Saturday. I started to feel panic and told my mum. She asked me to go to the doctor the next day, which is today. The doctor asked me what happened and after telling her, she asked me to go to Changi General Hospital at once to get my blood test as I might have dengue. I started to shiver when I heard the word dengue. TAKOT TAU. So then I went home and told my mum and we went to the hospital with my sister. I had to wear the stupid mask and sit in the fever room.

When it was my turn, I showed the doctor the red spots all over me. After that, she said, "OK, its now time for me to take your blood to check whether you are having dengue or it's just normal fever." I was ready. I looked at her take out the syringe thingy and she poked it right through my skin. It didn't feel a a thing. I am not scared of syringes since I was young, so it was nothing for me. She asked me to open my mouth to check my throat and she told me that my tonsils are enlarged. Cool huh?

She then asked me to return back in an hours time to know my result.

When I came back, she told me that the result showed it was dengue negative. ALHAMDULILLAH. All the worries were gone. An who was worried like mad, was relieved once I told him I was OK.

However, the medicine was crazy. Too huge and too many. I will eat it
all anyway as I'm still having very high fever now. 39.1. I hope I'll recover soon. INSYA-ALLAH.
